Volunteers

We have all worked as volunteers and despite significant efforts over the years, the GCG Committee have been unable to deliver any of the proposed park improvements and all of the additional funding secured has had to be returned to source.

Thousands of volunteer hours have been invested in developing project proposals, applying for (and being offered) community grants and raising funds to enhance the park but sadly the proposals were either refused or ignored by Council Officers.​
